Pre-Bariatric Surgery Assessments
Post-Bariatric Surgery Patient Management
Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome
Fatty liver disease
We propose medical solution for treatment of obesity and related health conditions. Our program involves patient consultation, diagnostic workouts including cardiometabolic screening, medical treatment and follow-up during and beyond the duration of the program.
We encourage lifestyle and behavioural modification through ongoing support with different providers to help our patients rewire their thinking so that they can effectively address the underlying issues contributing to their weight challenges. We focus on holistic behaviour modification by promoting actionable goal-setting, self-monitoring, and diet customization as part of our efforts to help our patients achieve their best weight without putting their health and overall physical fitness at risk.
Excess body weight is a risk factor for diabetes that is why we provide specialized care for patients with diabetes or pre-diabetes. We provide medical treatment and dietary advice to prevent, manage and in some cases reverse diabetes.
PRE-BARIATRIC SURGERY ASSESSMENTS AND
POST-BARIATRIC SURGERY PATIENT MANAGEMENT
We provide consultation and assessments to determine our patients' needs and suitability for bariatric surgery. Post-surgery, we collaborate with their medical teams to monitor nutrition changes, evaluate their post-surgery lifestyle changes, and track the adoption of long-term behavior modification.
Please note that the family physician will remain the primary and most responsible physician for their patient’s longitudinal care. We will keep in close communication with the patient's family physician regarding changes in medication, therapy, or diagnostic findings.
